Your
satisfaction is our job.
In 1980 when we
opened Academy Roofing, Inc. we knew that the foundation of our company would
be outstanding customer service. Over the years I have talked to many customers
before we began their roof. Some of our customers seemed so worried about their
projects. I had complete confidence in our ability to get the job done right,
so it was hard for me to understand why the customer felt so
nervous. It was not until we reroofed our own home
that I gained a better understanding of our customers' thinking. We had a cedar
shingle roof on our ranch-style home. We replaced that with a tile roof. The
old roof had to be torn off and hauled away. The roof was then "prepped" for
tile and the tile installed. In all, the project took about a
week. I will never forget the dust, the noises (what
were they doing up there?) and the frenzied activity all around our house.
Suddenly I was one of our customers. This was an incredible project! I began to
realize that having a roof installed is not the same as getting a new sink or
painting a room. I now understood that our customers need a lot more attention
than just having a foreman arrive one day and announce that a crew was ready to
start the roof. Installing a good roof is just not enough. We have to be there
for our customers from start to finish. That's what
we do at Academy Roofing, Inc. I think that's what sets us apart from so many
other companies. We want your job to go well. We want your roof to look
beautiful and last for years. We want that antique clock in the dining room to
still be in one piece. We want you to be satisfied. The foundation of our
company now had three words - complete customer satisfaction. It's the only way
we know how to do business.
