I’m assuming you did this because of the necessity of a repeat trip, and because you operate your company with the customer in mind. This was very surprising and refreshing, and I wanted to let you know that it is rare that a company impresses me enough to write a letter. Patty was so nice and went above and beyond to help me. She really made dealing with your company easy and I felt like she would follow through with what she promised. she was also very accommodating in scheduling my work so that we could meet a deadline for our closing. It was also very amazing that someone was sent back to my home so quickly to remedy my concerns regarding the repairs. This is not what I would normally expect especially since the work done on my
home was so minimal. I would recommend your company to anyone, which is apparently not necessary due to the amount of work you have. It must be a testament to the way in which you conduct business. My house is for sale and the internal damage was very visible. The very next day a severe hail storm left a couple inches of hail on my deck but no leaks occured at my skylight. If the repairs had not been made so promptly I would have had much more additional damage to the interior oak beams. Academy installed my roof and I was most satisfied with the quality of workmanship and professionalism of the crew. The two men who did the skylight repair were also professional and friendly and put me at ease that again the job would be done properly and completely. March 2, 2011 – Steve Carpenter My reroof and gutter installtion was completeted on February 25. I wanted to write and express my appreciation for the quality of work completed. I routinely work with contactors for service and construction contracts and would say that Academy Roofing would have to rank among the best, if not the best, contractors I have ever worked with. The work completed was first rate and it was done well in advace of what I was expecting. If your company mandate if to “under promise and over deliver”, you do it very well. Daily the work crews cleaned up everything and not one time was there a conflict with them as they were doing their work. Unfortunatley I do not recall the job superintendant’s name since I only briefly spoke to him on the day the job started but please convey my appreciation to him for managing my job the way he did. Honesly, it is hard to think of any way that things could have been done better. As you may recall, dealing with my insurance company on the roof left kind of a bad taste in my mouth. The silver lining from that whole ordeal though ultimately resulted in me using your compnay for the work. I can assure you that I will be recommending you to anyone that I become aware of that is in need of a new roof. Thanks again for an outstading job. I initially chose your company based on word-of-mouth feedback. I served as an analyst for Governor Ritter for four years; while I never spoke with him directly about needing a new roof, plenty of other staff members knew of your top-notch reputation. I could not have made a better choice. This has been a long process for my family, and your staff has exceeded all expectations. Everyone I worked with was terrific – from Jacky, who patiently hounded me (at my request) to get started on the project, to Bruce (who continually rewrote estimates due to my delays), to those who worked on the roof (I believe Jeff was our field supevisor), to Leo (who took my final payment). She went above and beyond in her attempts to help me deal with an unruly mortgage company, including spending hours on the phone trying to straighten claims out while trying to soothe me at the same time.
